This song—Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)—captures something deeply familiar: the ache of leaving, the hope of arriving, the restlessness of not yet belonging and the promise of being seen.

At Amba Law Immigration Solutions PC, we know that journey — because we’ve lived it.

Let the melody carry you for a moment as you read, reflect, and envision your own path forward wherever you are in your journey.

Welcome

Hello — I’m Yasin G. Amba, Founding Attorney & CEO at Amba Law.

Thank you for visiting our website.

I came to this country through a family petition in the late 1990s, and I remain deeply grateful for the opportunities it has given me—and through me, my family back in Ethiopia. In our native land, individuals from small tribes like mine were not only denied many opportunities, but were often treated as second-class citizens.

From that late-1990s starting point—arriving as a seven-year-old boy who didn’t speak English—to the early 2020s, I worked day and night. I poured everything into learning, growing, and taking every opportunity. I earned my law license and went on to practice for several years in Florida—first in criminal defense, then transitioning into corporate law.

Today, I’ve left behind the non-stop hustle and am now focused on building two things: a thriving practice and my own family—blending the best of my African heritage with my American experience. And as I do that, my mission at Amba Law is clear: to support people from similar backgrounds—whether you’re still hustling, just getting started, settling into your new life, or navigating the transition. I’m here for those who, like me, have traveled a long road and want to grow alongside other like-minded individuals.

My team and I are committed to first addressing your immigration-related needs, and then focusing on full integration so you can embrace and take full advantage of the opportunities this country provides. I believe the United States is the greatest country in the world—and in today’s political climate, it matters that people like us share what America means to us.

Whether you’re navigating immigration for yourself or assisting a loved one, you’ve come to the right place. My team and I know this journey because we’ve lived it ourselves. We bring real experience, hard-earned confidence, and focused expertise to guide you.

Feel free to explore our services, read through our resources, and get to know our team. We understand what it means to face change, to seek belonging, and to build a new life. We are dedicated to making the law work for you and your loved ones.

If you ever have questions, feel uncertain, or simply want to talk through your options—don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

Why We’re Different:

Our Community Ambassadors

At Amba Law, our Community Ambassadors are the vital bridge between our firm and the diverse communities we serve.

After working directly with clients, we recognized the need for trusted community voices—and from that insight we built our Ambassador program.

These Ambassadors are trusted voices—in Somali Bantu, Somali, Amharic, Oromo, Dari, Arabic, and Spanish—who help us meet people where they are, understand their stories, and connect them with the justice and stability they deserve. Their involvement has been deeply successful—both for our clients and for our team—and continues to enrich every step of our work together.

Below is proof of what success looks like — our clients, on their big day, beaming with pride as they become Americans. With the support of our dedicated community ambassadors, we help make this moment possible.

At Amba Law, we believe you belong in this photo. Let us walk with you toward that moment.

Flat-Fee + Affordable Installments Plans

Our pricing model features a flat-fee approach plus installment options, allowing us to tailor the payments to your situation. We’ll work together to determine an initial retainer (the amount to get started) and a manageable monthly payment plan thereafter. This structure gives you predictability and peace of mind — you know what you’re paying, how, and why — while we begin the work of guiding, supporting, and integrating you into your new community.

This model has proven very successful for immigrant communities we serve: by aligning payment schedules with real-life budgets and removing surprise fees, clients feel supported, empowered, and ready to thrive. Transparent pricing. Customized plans. Real community impact.
