Our Story

Amba Law began as a promise — a quiet one made long before the firm ever existed. It started with a child who left his village in Ethiopia for a new life in America, carrying not much more than faith, memory, and the lessons of a father who believed in effort, discipline, and goodness.

That child became Attorney Yasin G. Amba, a lawyer who learned the law from both sides — as someone once lost in the system and later as someone trained to navigate it. He saw the barriers that keep people silent: language, fear, cost, and the quiet weight of not feeling like you belong.

From those experiences, Amba Law Immigration Solutions PC was born — a place where law and humanity meet. A place built for people who have had to fight twice as hard to be seen.

Every part of Amba Law reflects that journey — from how we speak with clients to how we train our team. Our work is guided by the belief that justice is not complete until it is accessible, and belonging is not real until it is shared.

At Amba Law, we’re more than a firm — we’re a community united around a shared vision. We’re immigrants, naturalized and otherwise, in San Diego and beyond coming together to build a strong, multi-ethnic community grounded in mutual support and pride, all while honoring our connection to our countries of origin.
