Stepping into the professional world straight out of university, I embraced the role of Legal Assistant at Amba Law under the mentorship of Attorney Yasin G. Amba. Navigating challenges like managing tasks, maintaining punctuality, and coordinating across a 10-hour time difference between Ethiopia and San Diego has been both demanding and rewarding. This experience has not only honed my professional skills but also deepened familial bonds, transforming our daily virtual interactions into meaningful collaborations. Journey to Amba Law
Growing up in Kubicuraa, Ethiopia, I was inspired by my brothers' journey to the U.S. in 1998, which transformed our family's future. At 10, my parents moved us to Yabelo Town, sacrificing greatly for our education, leading me to excel at Abdii Borii School. My dedication earned me a place at ODA Special Boarding School, where I grew academically and personally. Despite the profound loss of my father during my time at Addis Ababa University, I persevered and graduated with Great Distinction. Now, I proudly join my brothers at Amba Law as a Legal Assistant, merging my Computer Science background with a passion for helping others.
